Hi, I'm Diego! I am an experienced Software Developer with
a Degree in Systems Engineering from the Autonomous
University of Colombia.
With more than 10 years of professional working experience
all over the world, I have been involved in most areas of
producing top quality software which includes:

From the deep waters of jQuery to the new streams of React or Angular, I have a strong coding foundation that allows me to swim smoothly across the vast ocean of Javascript's libraries and frameworks.
Backend
I have experience using NodeJS and PHP for different purposes, including regular web applications, REST APIs and Backend for Frontend APIs.
HTML/CSS
I have a vast experience creating semantic, responsive and modern web applications that look and feel great on any device or platform.
Testing & debugging
Because bugs are an unavoidable part of life, I have mastered a set of skills and tools that allow me to handle the most exotic bugs in a fast and accurate way.
Version control
I am comfortable working simultaneously with
interdisciplinary teams under version control systems
as Git and Mercurial.
I also have experience merging, patching and releasing
apps with different version control strategies.
Web performance & security
Although often neglected, performance and security are
key components of any high quality piece of
software.
I try to keep myself informed and updated on the

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that support different
operations of the Deutsche Bahn.
We work in a dynamic and agile way, with a strong
focus on CI/CD, cloud-computing and security.

At 2e Systems we created and supported large-scale web
applications for the airline industry.
Our web applications reached hundreds of thousands of
users and transactions each day while complying with
the highest standards of quality and security.

At Village Bicycle I worked as a Front End Developer.
I oversaw the development area, quoting and planning
the architecture to be used in all the technical
projects and innovate digital campaigns.

likes of Distell and the Western Cape Blood Services.
